Mr. Corn heads strategy, consulting with clients regarding positioning, messaging, product development, advertising, selling agreements, finals and distribution. His career has spanned client-side sales and marketing, Chief Investment Officer – Equities and agency head.
The agency is a leader in helping managers gain AUM while building esteem in the marketplace. The firm also works extensively within the accredited crowd funding space. He is an advisor to SenaHill Partners, LP a FinTech focused merchant bank. E5A has clients range from technology to publishing to entertainment and healthcare, to professional services and insurance focused on raising revenue or attracting assets.
Until June 2010, Andrew was EVP/Chief Investment Officer, Equities for the Beacon Trust Company. At Beacon Trust, Andrew supervised the firm’s equity investment team, managing long only strategies and long/short funds. He was also responsible for Beacon Indexes that publishes indices tracked by ETFs and UITs.
Prior to Beacon Trust Company, Andrew was the Founder of Clear Asset Management and Clear Indexes (sold to Beacon Trust). As founder, he developed the vision and premise of the firm’s investment process, multifactor models, risk management and trading strategy.
Andrew was named “Emerging Manager of the Year” for Equities in 2007 by Opal Financial Group and “Portfolio Manager of the Month” of March 2007 in Investor’s Business Daily. He was responsible for the firm’s marketing strategy and asset gathering. His success in distribution, media and marketing are well documented. He also established a popular index and portfolio design contest with 14 leading Universities conducted on Facebook.
Until May 2004, Andrew was SVP of Marketing of TheStreet.com and its institutional broker-dealer subsidiary, Independent Research Group. There he headed marketing, advertising and digital communications as the firm achieved its first full year of profitability.
Previously, Andrew was EVP/CMO of London-based Citigate, (a multinational, integrated communications agency). From 1989 through 2000, Andrew was the CEO of Admaster Communications, a financial services focused agency, and MasterApproach, an investment industry consultant and software developer. Both were sold to Citigate in 2001. As CEO, he consulted on product development and marketing for institutional money managers, mutual funds, hedge funds, investment banks, pension consultants, and brokerages.
Lisa serves the firm and its clients managing production, deadlines and budgets. She also handles much of the firm’s technology, R&D and vendor relations.
From 2010 to 2012 Lisa took time off to spend with her daughters and travel. During that time she remained on top of social media including: Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest and many media technologies. Lisa served on the board of her daughter’s school and supervised HR at E5A companies.
From 2004 until 2010 Lisa was an SVP at Clear Asset Management and subsequently Beacon Trust in the technology, HR, finance and marketing areas.
Prior to Beacon Trust Lisa served as an SVP at Citigate and was EVP/Production for eight years at Admaster Communications. Lisa began her career as a graphic designer, photographer and early adapter of computer technology and the Internet.
She has a BA in Mass Communications from Boston University.
EVP / Technology and Production
Tracy works closely with accounts ranging from real estate, to insurance, to food, to professional services. Her responsibilities include account management, mastering and implementing media technology, and learning data analytics. Tracy leverages her writing talent supporting the creative team in crafting ads, websites and other collateral. Tracy graduated from New York University with a B.S. in Media, Culture, and Communications. Born and raised in NY, she currently resides in Long Island.
TRACY CHOI Associate Account Manager
Lawrence has been creating brand identification, website design, packaging design, and illustration for over twenty years. He founded New York’s CB Design Studio’s computer design division in 1995. The division was acquired by a private firm within 2 years of its creation. Lawrence remained as the firms Art Director for 10 years helping to quadruple its assets within his tenure.
Mr. McGarvey has been honored with numerous design awards and holds US Design Patents for some of the designs he has created. He keeps his eyes on the international contemporary art world looking for the newest visuals that will evolve into cutting edge graphics for his clients.
Jamie is E5A’s newest member.
She was recruited from New York University. Originally from California, Jamie currently resides in New York, as an account manager at E5A. In addition to learning the ins and outs of asset gathering, she works as E5A’s AdWords analyst. Jamie spends her time out of the office with her small dog.
Sr. Art Director
Maria creates and executes branding and advertising, and sets the overall design tone for major accounts. An online design pioneer, Maria’s been defining and developing design strategies and solutions for over 20 years. With her passion for form and function, she strives to create compelling visual designs, clear and descriptive information designs, and compelling and intuitive experiences. Her experience lies in client acquisition, brand building, information architecture, and interactive design. She has the ability to understand our clients’ goals and translate them into effective communications – digitally and in print from web sites, to brochures to ads and landing pages. She is a rare breed that can conceptualize, design and execute.
Prior to her time with E5A, Maria was the Creative Director at Infogroup, where she ran a multi-disciplinary creative team focused on product development, advertising and client acquisition. She provided brand direction and strengthening, and visual direction for Infogroup’s Small Business products.
From 2003 – 2012, Maria grew from a Senior Designer to Design Manager at TheStreet.com. She led the creative team in digital and print projects, formed creative strategies, and utilized UI/UX design direction for the company web site as well as new product sites and initiatives.
Prior to TheStreet.com she was the Senior Art Director at CNET Networks where she managed an eight person, multi-disciplined design and marketing team. Maria built, maintained and strengthened the CNET global brand. She crafted creative, the visual direction of the web site, and other revenue-building mini-sites. She resides in Brooklyn with her husband and two children with whom she frequently takes on fun adventures.
